课程简介

《商务英语视听说》是专门为商务及财经类院校学生设立的一门高级商务英语语言技能课程。课程旨在培养学生在未来商务环境下,用英语进行交流的能力,同时达到提高跨文化商务英语听力和英语会话的技能。该课程也是学习商务英语其他相关课程的基础课程,为学生提供一个商务英语的入门介绍,并对商务英语情境有整体的认识。

 

本课程以国际经济与贸易专业(本科)学生为主要授课对象,作为专业方向选修课,是整个专业课程体系的重要组成部分。

 

目前全国有几十所财经类院校,都是要培养国际化的掌握一门外语并精通经济贸易管理知识的精品复合型人才,因此《商务英语视听说》课程应运而生。它的开设符合了财经类院校和其他商科学校的课程规划和设置要求。课程开设以来,顺应时代、突出特色、推陈出新,无论从知识上、语言上、教法上都适应了时代的发展,满足了高校学生高起点、国际化、财经类专业的知识和语言训练需求,具有立体感、时代感、实用性、复合性。

 

教学上的特点是认真完成从一本教材授课,教师为中心,教室为学习地点的灌输式 “cramming teaching” 教学向多种教材,学生为中心,多个学习地点的自主式学习的转变。教材后面的多媒体互动听力光盘准许学生反复听,多层次的练习。教学方法的改进和手段的更新,主要采用交际法教学和多媒体互动教学。

一、使用说明

(一)课程性质

《商务英语视听说》是为国际贸易专业学生开设的一门综合语言技能课,以国际经济与贸易专业(本科)学生为主要授课对象,作为专业方向选修课,是整个专业课程体系的重要组成部分。该课程的主要任务是使学生进一步提高语言应用能力,特别是用于国际商务的专门用途英语的使用能力。该课程是学习商务英语其他相关课程的基础课程,为学生提供一个商务英语的入门介绍,并对商务英语情境有整体的认识。

(二)教学目的

该课程旨在培养学生在各种商务环境下熟练运用英语知识与技巧的能力,对学生进行正规严格的听说技能训练,有计划地、逐步地提高学生的听说水平。通过商务英语视听说语言要点训练,商务情景实践以及综合技能训练,使学生逐步获得商务英语交际能力和操作能力,必将有助于培养学生的实际应用能力和跨文化交际能力。

(三)教学时数

国际经济与贸易专业(本科)共计51学时(17周、周3学时),其中课堂讲授45学时,机动6学时。(带*号的章节为自学内容或以自学为主。)

(四)教学方法

认真完成从一本教材授课,教师为中心,教室为学习地点的灌输式 “cramming teaching” 教学向多种教材,学生为中心,多个学习地点的自主式学习的转变。教材后面的多媒体互动听力光盘准许学生反复听,多层次的练习。教学方法的改进和手段的更新,主要采用交际法教学和多媒体互动教学。
